Allergies

Nasal allergies affect up to 40-percent of children and are the most common cause of chronic nasal congestion in the United States. On any given day, as many as 10,000 American children miss school because of allergies. Most of these allergies are caused by such irritants as pollen, mold or animal dander. All allergic reactions are characterized by excessive activation of certain white blood cells resulting in extreme inflammatory response.
