Reacted Selenium is a chelated mineral manufactured by Albion Laboratories for thyroid support.

Albion's patented chelation technology stabilizes the minerals while creating some of the smallest absorbable minerals available. This is important because large minerals from other manufacturers simply cannot pass through the intestinal wall, rendering them useless to the body. There are many products claiming to be chelated minerals, however, some are merely complexed mixtures of minerals and proteins not fitting the true definition of an amino acid chelate. The significance of this is found in the fact that minerals delivered in this way lose integrity during digestion, becoming unstable and compromising quality.
